MINUTES
Chair Persell called the meeting to order at 8:38 A.M. on March 24, 2009 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
HF1086 Wagenius (1st engrossment), Park and trails fund, outdoor heritage fund, clean water fund, arts and cultural heritage fund, and environment and natural resources trust fund oversight provided and criteria established.
Representative Wagenius moved that HF1086 be recommended to pass and re-referred to Finance with a recommendation for re-referral to Cultural and Outdoor Resources Finance.
Representative Wagenius moved the
H1086A4 amendment.
Representative Wagenius moved an amendment to the amendment as follows: line 2.24, insert a period after "acquisition" and delete lines 2.25 and 2.26. The motion prevailed and the amendment to the amendment is adopted.
A vote was taken on the H1086A4 amendment. The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted.
Representative Wagenius presented HF1086 as amended.
A vote was taken on the bill. The motion prevailed and HF1086 as amended is recommended to pass and re-referred to Finance, with a recommendation for re-referral to Cultural and Outdoor Resources Finance.
Julie Klocker, Assistant Director, Board of Soil and Water Resources, and John Jaschke, Executive Director, continued their presentation of BWSR’s 2010-2011 budget.
Representative Lillie moved the minutes of March 17th and 19th. The motion prevailed and the minutes are approved.
The committee adjourned at 10:03 A.M.
