Representative Mahoney, Chair of the Bioscience and Workforce Development Policy and Oversight Division called the eighteenth meeting to order at 10:35 A.M. on March 17, 2009 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Mahoney moved HF42 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Policy and Finance Division.
Representative Thissen presented HF42, a bill relating to
health; providing temporary MinnesotaCare eligibility for certain individuals receiving unemployment benefits
Representative Mahoney moved to amend HF42 as follows (See Amendment
H0042A5)
AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.
Representative Hilty moved to amend HF42 as follows:
Page 4, line 9, delete "eligible to receive" and insert "who make application for"
AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.
Representative Mahoney renewed his motion that HF42, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Policy and Finance Division.
MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Slocum moved approval of the Minutes from the March 11, 2009 meeting.
