Representative Paymar, Chair of the Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:08 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Lesch moved that the Minutes of the March 19, 2014 hearing be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
H.F. 2478 (O’Driscoll) Veterans in crisis; Upper Midwest Community Policing Institute de-escalation training for dealing with veterans returning from active military service in combat zones grant money appropriated.
Rep. Cornish moved that H.F. 2478 be laid over for possible inclusion the Omnibus Public Safety Bill.

H.F. 2953 (Johnson, S.) Correctional services delivery; contiguous counties qualification requirement eliminated.
