MINUTES

Representative Murphy, Chair of Committee on State Government Finance and Veterans Affairs, called the meeting to order at 12:30 March 6, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Hansen moved HF 112

Rep. Hansen presented HF 112 (Hansen) Mighty Ducks grant for new or renovated air handling systems of indoor ice facilities funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Paul Erickson, Executive Director, MN Amateur Sports Commission

Chair Murphy moved that HF 112 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Capital Investment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Hansen presented HF 868 (Hansen) Mighty Ducks grant funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Chair Murphy moved that HF 868 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Capital Investment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Sundin presented HF 98 (Sundin) Big Lake Sanitary District public infrastructure funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Chair Murphy moved that HF 98 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Capital Investment.

Chair Murphy moved that HF 117 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Capital Investment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Simonson presented on HF 822 (Simonson) Spirit Mountain Recreation Area Authority water facilities funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Rep. Peppin presented HF 172 (Peppin) State budget documents required to include federal contingency planning, and federal fund loss report required.

Rep. Anderson withdrew HF 94 (Anderson) Fiscal year 2013 general fund surplus use restricted.

Chair Murphy moved that HF 756 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus state government finance bill.

Rep. McNamara presented HF 756 (McNamara) State employees reimbursed for insurance costs.

Representative Dettmer moved H0756A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Murphy renewed the motion that HF 756, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus state government finance bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Murphy announced the next meeting would be held on Monday, March 11, 2013.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:05 PM.
