HEALTH FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Backer, Chair of the Health Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01PM, on ¬¬¬¬¬March 5, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Franson moved the minutes of March 3, 2025 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1501 (Murphy) Minnesota Rare Disease Advisory Council funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Backer moved HF1501 before the committee.

Testifiers:

Erica Barnes, Executive Director, Minnesota Rare Disease Advisory Council.

Chair Backer laid over HF1501.

HF22 (Gillman) Parent’s bill of rights created.

Chair Backer moved HF22 be rereferred to the Committee on State Government Finance and Policy

Chair Backer moved to adopt the A5 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Bahner moved HF89 before the committee.
