MINUTES
Representative Baker, Chair of the Workforce, Labor and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, in the G3 Room of the Capitol.
Representative Mekeland moved the minutes for Tuesday, March 11, 2025, to be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
A Quorum was present.

The committee heard testimony from bill author, Representative P.H. Anderson regarding H.F. 1057 – farm employee definition modified for purposes of earned sick and safe time.
Additional testifiers were:

Bruce Kleven, representing agriculture groups
H.F. 1057 was laid over for future consideration.
The committee heard testimony from bill author, Representative Isaac Schultz, regarding H.F. 1325- earned sick and safe time modifications.
Chairman Dave Baker moved amendment A2 to be added to the bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
