MINUTES

Representative Baker, Chair of the Workforce, Labor and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:36AM on Tuesday, March 5th, 2025, in the G3 Room of the Capitol.

Representative Mekeland moved the minutes for Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, to be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

A Quorum was present.

The committee heard testimony from bill author, Representative Kristin Robbins, regarding H.F. 23- Whistleblower definitions provided and whistleblower protections for public employees modified.

The committee also heard testimony from Devin Bruce, Minnesota Association of Professional Employees.

Representative Frazier made a motion to refer H.F. 23 to the Judiciary Committee and requested a roll call. The result is as follows:
