WORKFORCE, LABOR, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Baker, Co-Chair of the Workforce, Labor and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, in the G3 Room of the Capitol.

Vice-Chair Mekeland moved the minutes for Tuesday, March 18th, 2025, to be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Co-Chair Baker moved to hear testimony on H.F. 510

H.F. 510 was presented by bill author. Representative Koznick – Made in Minnesota program funding provided.

Co-Chair Baker moved to hear testimony on H.F. 2238

H.F. 2238 was presented by bill author, Representative Bakeberg – Commissioner directed to approve youth skills training programs in construction trades.
