MINUTES

Representative Pinto, Chair of the Workforce, Labor and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025, in the G3 Room of the Capitol.

Chair Baker moved the minutes as amended for Tuesday March 25th, 2025, to be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

A quorum was present.

HF 2146 (Greenman) Annual reports from partnership entities of the Intergovernmental Misclassification Enforcement and Education Partnership required, and money appropriated.

HF 2145 (Greenman) Employer misrepresentation and misconduct penalties increased.

Representative Berg moved that HF 2146 be brought before the committee.

Representative Greenman moved the H2146DE1 amendment to HF 2146 for adoption. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Greenman presented HF 2146 as amended and HF 2145.

Representative Berg moved that the A25-0030 amendment to HF 2440 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Commissioner Matt Varilek presented HF 2440 as amended.
