Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15AM on February 11, 2025, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Gomez moved to adopt the A18DE1 Amendment.
Representative Gomez withdrew the A118DE1 Amendment.
Representative Davids moved that HF18 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF4 (Johnson, W) Portion of projected budget surplus required to be returned to state taxpayers, and constitutional amendment proposed.

Representative Smith moved the following oral amendment: On P.2, L.2.2 insert “projected” before “expenditures.” THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED
Representative Davids LAID OVER HF4, as Amended.
