MINUTES

Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15AM on March 4, 2025, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Smith moved the minutes from February 27, 2025 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF633(Nadeau) Licensed in-home child care providers market value exclusion established.

Chairman Davids laid over HF633 for possible inclusion in the Tax Omnibus Bill.

HF457 (Harder) Refundable sales and use tax credit proposed for conversion of underutilized buildings, grants in lieu of the credit allowed, credit sunset proposed, and reports required.
Representative Harder moved to adopt the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Gomez moved the A25 Amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.
