MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15 AM on February 24th, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Klevorn moved the minutes of February 17, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3 (Nash) Legislative auditor required to submit a report to the Legislature related to an agency’s implementation of internal control or fiscal management recommendations, and money appropriated.

Representative Nash moved HF3 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Nash moved the A9 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Nash renewed the motion to re-refer HF3, as amended, to the General Register. Representative Nash requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:

A presentation was given on the issue and impact of estimates of discretionary inflation on the biennial budget.
