MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 5:06 PM on March 11th, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Agbaje moved the minutes of March 10th, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1218 (Heintzeman) Funding from the environment and natural resources trust fund, prior appropriations modified, and money appropriated.

Chair Torkelson moved HF1218 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Heintzeman moved the A3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Heintzeman moved the A4 amendment.

Representative Acomb requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:

Representative Acomb moved that HF1218, as amended, be re-referred to the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Torkelson renewed the motion that HF1218, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Handouts must be in PDF format with OCR capability. The Chair may waive the noon deadline for handouts, but handouts received after noon on the business day before the committee meeting might not be printed for committee members and the public.

AMENDMENT DEADLINE: Amendments must be e-mailed to the committee administrator and the committee legislative assistant by 9:00 AM on March 11, 2025.
