MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM on March 17th, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Agbaje moved the minutes of March 11th, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1704 (Anderson, P.H.) Department of Agriculture, the Board of Animal Health, the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute, and the Office of Broadband Development budget established; policy and technical changes made to agricultural and broadband provisions; rulemaking authorized; reports required; and money appropriated.

Chair Torkelson moved HF1704 before the committee.

Chair Torkelson moved the H1704A6 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Torkelson moved that HF1704, as amended, be laid over.


HF1722 (Davids) U.S. Highway 63 segment designated as Office Jason B. Meyer Memorial Highway

Chair Torkelson moved HF1722 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Torkelson renewed the motion that HF1722 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:40 PM.
