MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:30PM on April 30th, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Agbaje moved the minutes of April 29th, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF2077 (Hawj) – Omnibus Environment and Natural Resources budget bill

Chair Torkelson moved that SF2077 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Torkelson moved to delete everything after the enacting clause of SF2077 and insert HF2439. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Torkelson renewed the motion that SF2077, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF841 (Myers) – Food shelf programs funding provided

Chair Torkelson moved HF841 before the committee.

Chair Torkelson moved that HF841 be laid over.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:36PM.

Note: SF2077 is the Senate companion of HF2439. HF 2439 was heard in the Ways and Means Committee on April 22. The Committee will move to insert the language of HF2439 onto SF2077.

4. HF841 (Meyers) Food shelf programs funding provided, and money appropriated.

5. Adjournment
