Dear neighbors,
The actions we see being taken in Washington, D.C. on a near daily basis are alarming and dangerous.
Whether it’s undermining public education, imposing tariffs that drive up the cost of living and doing business, firing thousands of federal workers with no warning, or cutting Medicaid to give tax breaks to billionaires, the Trump administration’s policies are making you poorer. Every day, more and more people are standing up to Donald Trump and his billionaire friends, and fighting back to protect our families, schools, communities, and fundamental rights.
That’s why I’m pleased to announce a special town hall meeting in the south metro on Monday, April 14 at 6:00pm to fight back against the Trump administration’s harmful policies, together. To receive the event location, please register here.
I’ll be joined by Senators Erin Maye Quade and Lindsey Port Reps. Robert Bierman, Jess Hanson, John Huot, and Bianca Virnig. This event will feature a presentation about how the federal government’s actions are hurting the people of Minnesota, and most importantly, it’s an opportunity for people in our area to voice their fears, frustrations, and ideas. I’m eager to listen to what you have to say and work together to stand up for our shared values.
Please reach out to me with any questions about the event. I hope to see you and our community turn out for this important town hall meeting on Monday, April 14 at 6:00pm.
