ST. PAUL – State Rep. Dean Urdahl, R-Acton Township, has accepted positions on four additional House panels for the upcoming biennium, following his recent appointment to serve as chairman of the Capital Investment Committee.
Urdahl, entering his eighth term in the House, also will serve Legacy, Education Policy, Agriculture Finance, and Ways and Means panels.
“These committee assignments are good matches for my background and areas of interest in the House,” Urdahl said. “The subjects are important to the people of District 18A and I welcome the opportunity to serve as their voice as decisions are made at the Capitol. The challenges we face are many and I look forward to making improvements.”
Urdahl will begin his new committee assignments when the Legislature convenes Jan. 3 in St. Paul.
