ST. PAUL – The “Aaron in the Afternoon” program on KLFD will air live from the legislative office of Rep. Dean Urdahl Feb. 6, prior to Gov. Mark Dayton’s State of the State Address that night.
Dayton himself is among the state officials Urdahl, R-Acton Township, has arranged to join KLFD talent Aaron Imholte and him on the air. The bipartisan roster of scheduled guests includes not only area legislators, but officials from throughout the state. On-air guests are subject to change. The current list includes:
Imholte’s show will air 1:30 to 5 p.m. on AM 1410, before Dayton issues his speech at 7 p.m. Imholte also conducted a show from Urdahl’s desk in 2011.
“The best part about doing a show from the Capitol is the convenient access to legislators and other state officials,” Urdahl said. “We can get first-hand insight from different parts of the state and share a variety of perspectives with listeners in the Litchfield area. Things went really well the last time we broadcast from St. Paul and I look forward to another successful program with Aaron.”
