Greetings,
I hope you and your loved ones have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
While it has been another challenging year on a number of levels, it also has been encouraging to see the amazing ingenuity and resilience of the American spirit on display. It also is heartening to see people in our district going the extra mile to help one another to keep our community going.
Thanksgiving is, by definition, a wonderful time to stop and reflect on our bountiful blessings. Let us maintain perspective regarding the truly important things in life, keeping in mind all the reasons to be grateful as citizens of the greatest nation this world has ever known.
A special thank-you goes to our front-line workers, particularly people in the areas of health care and public safety, who have done extraordinary work to keep us healthy and safe.
Oh, deer!
Deer hunting is one of my favorite times of the year and I hope local deer hunters had good luck this season. Here is a photo of me with the 10-point buck I harvested from the McGregor area on opening weekend.
Helping neighbors
The holiday season can put extra strain on our local charitable organizations and food shelves. The current rate of inflation may lead to even more demand on the services these groups provide this year so anything you can do to help by donating items, dollars or time would be very much appreciated.
Honoring veterans
It was a pleasure to participate in multiple Veterans Day events earlier this month. I spoke during an event at Delano High School and also at a dedication of a veterans’ memorial monument in Montrose. Thank you to our veterans for your incredible service.

It continues to be my humble honor and privilege to serve in the Minnesota House and represent the values and priorities of our great communities. I am forever grateful for the warm support of people in District 29A and I look forward to the 2022 session beginning in late January. As always, your input is appreciated and helpful to me as I continue working to best serve the people of our area.
