ST. PAUL – State Rep. Joe McDonald, R-Delano, has gained an appointment to serve as a Republican lead on the House Labor and Industry Finance & Policy Committee.
McDonald, entering his seventh term in office, has been the ranking Republican on a committee including labor and industry the last two years.
“I am very pleased to be back on the labor and industry committee as I continue working to support our workers and keep Minnesota a national leader in job creation,” McDonald said. “My focus will remain to ensure this committee is guided by common sense and is careful with taxpayer dollars.”
The Legislature convenes Jan. 3 to start the 2023 session at the Capitol in St. Paul.
