Friends,
I wanted to write today to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you are surrounded by loved ones with great food and can appreciate all that we are thankful for this year. Let's also hope we can celebrate another Vikings win on Thanksgiving Day!
At this time of year, I like to take time and reflect on the many things for which I am thankful including my family, the brave men and women who protect our nation, and the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. It is an honor to work for and represent you at the Capitol.

Seth Pack Scholarships are now available to families who have children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the counties of Dodge, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Olmsted, Rice, Wabasha, and Winona. The forms to apply for the scholarships is available here.
Links to Organizations Offering a Helping Hand
The holidays can put a strain on charities and organizations helping out those who need it. If you can spare your time or dollars, please considering helping some of these worthy causes that help those who have served our country:
- The Fisher House Foundation, which supports a network of comfort homes where military and veterans' families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving medical treatment.
- The Veteran Administration's Stand Down, which helps homeless veterans with food, shelter, clothing, health screenings and other necessities.
- The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), which offers care to those grieving the loss of a military loved one through a national peer support network and grief services, all at no cost to the surviving family. This is one of the newest groups the MMRG has partnered with and one that truly makes a difference for the families of our fallen heroes.
