Dear Neighbors,
I hope you enjoyed your Christmas celebrations despite the wet weather. With six kids, it was nice to stay home and just be with each other rather than rushing to a number of different activities or parties. I hope you’re looking forward to another holiday weekend before the kids head back to school after the New Year. Have fun, and be safe this weekend.
Just after the New Year is the legislative session on January 3. As you know, the biggest, most pressing issue facing our state is a need to increase physician access and make health insurance more affordable for hardworking Minnesotans. There are a number of ways to reduce these costs, and I’ll be sure to keep you posted as these bills travel through the legislative process. If you have questions, please contact me.
With session starting, I’ll be in St. Paul most of every week until June. If you want to visit, plan a school field trip, or advocate for a cause you’re passionate about, I encourage you to visit me in St. Paul. The Capitol has reopened following its renovation, and it’s absolutely breathtaking. Even if you’ve been before, it’s worth another visit to see the restoration.
I’d love to hear from you directly, and learn how I can help you and your family. If you’re interested in visiting, please email me at rep.jim.nash@house.mn, or call 651-296-4282. You can also contact my legislative assistant, Tim Smith, at tim.smith@house.mn.
As always, I’m here to serve you, and look forward to seeing you at the Capitol this session.
Have a blessed, safe New Year!
Jim
