NASH TO HOLD OFFICE HOURS IN CAPITOL ROTUNDA
ST. PAUL, MN - After House Democrats mandated that the State Office Building remain closed during the 2022 legislative session, barring constituents from meeting with legislators in the building, Representative Jim Nash, R-Waconia, announced office hours in the Capitol Rotunda instead. Appointments will be available on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 1pm to 2:30pm.
"Since House DFL leadership has shut the public out of the State Office Building for the third session in a row, I've decided to hold office hours in the Capitol," said Nash. "If my constituents take the time to visit the Capitol, they should be able to meet with their representative in person instead of virtually. There is no reason to slam the doors on the public with case counts dropping and life returning to normal everywhere but the Metro."
