Nash Elected to House Republican Leadership Team
ST. PAUL, MN — On Monday, Minnesota House Republicans announced their new leadership team for the upcoming 2023-2024 legislative sessions, and Rep. Jim Nash, R-Waconia, was chosen to serve as Caucus Whip. Nash was recently elected to serve as state representative for the newly drawn House District 48A which includes Waconia, Victoria, Mayer, Cologne, portions of Chaska, and several surrounding townships.
"I am honored to be elected by my colleagues to join a strong leadership team as we move into the next legislative session," said Nash. "Continuing my leadership in the caucus, I look forward to championing policies that will serve Minnesota families well, especially those in our community. I will fight for improvements to Hwy 5, Hwy 212, and other local infrastructure projects. I also look forward to prioritizing things like public safety and tax relief for Minnesotans struggling under the weight of increased crime and inflation."
Returning to the House Republican Leadership team, Rep. Nash has served as an Assistant Leader since 2017 and is beginning his fifth term in the House.
