ST. PAUL – Representative Jim Nash, R-Waconia, was sworn in Tuesday for his fifth term as the State Representative for House District 48A. Nash was first elected in 2014 and lives in Waconia with his wife Kim and their children.
“It is an honor to continue representing Waconia and the surrounding communities in the House,” said Nash. “I look forward to getting to work for the people of District 48A and advocating for their priorities during this legislative session. As always, I welcome ideas and input from constituents, and encourage anyone with thoughts about the issues coming before the House to contact my office. It’s a privilege to continue serving as your State Representative.”
Nash was also named to four House committees: State and Local Government Finance and Policy, Ways and Means, Housing Finance and Policy, and Rules and Legislative Administration. He was named the Republican Lead member on the State and Local Government Finance and Policy committee, and was elected by his peers to serve as the House Republican Whip.
