Dear neighbors,
As we approach the halfway point of the 2018 Minnesota Legislative Session, we still have major discussions to come, like how to expand affordable, quality health care for all Minnesotans, ensuring we maintain our commitment to a world-class education for all kids, and keeping taxes fair for families. Solutions to improve care for seniors, stop gun violence, and end the opioid epidemic remain outstanding as well, among other items.
My legislative colleagues and I are looking to gain feedback from you and your neighbors that we can use to shape our policies at the Capitol. Rep. Jen Schultz, Sen. Erik Simonson and I invite you to attend a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Glensheen. The meeting is free to attend, and everyone in the community is welcome.
We look forward to your questions, input, and ideas for how we can make Minnesota a better place and help ensure everyone can succeed. It would be terrific to see you there, but if you can’t attend, don’t hesitate to call or email me any time. It’s an honor to represent such an engaged community of people.
Liz Olson
State Representative
