SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Tonight, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz delivered his 2020 State of the State address. Due to his “Stay at Home” order as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, he delivered the message via video from the Governor’s Residence.
Rep. Liz Olson (DFL – Duluth), the House Majority Whip, issued the following statement:
“The only way Minnesotans are going to get through this crisis is by looking out for one another, and I’m grateful for Governor Walz’s leadership in helping Minnesotans navigate an impossible situation. There are a great deal of challenges ahead to Minnesotans’ health and economic wellbeing, and we will continue working together to help ensure individuals, families, and businesses can find light at the end of the tunnel.”
Rep. Jen Schultz (DFL – Duluth) issued the following statement:

He’s been a reassuring voice for Minnesotans during this challenge while relying on science and factual information to guide him through very difficult decisions to equip our response.
