Dear Neighbors,
It’s hard to believe summer has flown by so quickly, and I hope you were able to enjoy time with your friends and family. As school resumes this fall, I want to wish all students, teachers, staff, and parents the best for a safe, successful school year. Once again, the school year will have some challenges and uncertainties, but I know families in our community are resilient, and we’re all committed to ensuring all of our learners can reach their full potential.
On Saturday, September 11 at 10:30 a.m., you’re invited to attend a Virtual Town Hall Meeting with Sen. Jen McEwen, Rep. Jen Schultz, and me. We will discuss our work this year at the Capitol, our goals for the future, and most importantly, answer questions from you, the members of our Duluth community.
We will hold the event on Zoom, and those who wish to attend can preregister here. If there’s a question you’d like us to answer, you can share it on that form, too. Also, we will livestream the Town Hall on Facebook Live if you’d prefer to join us there.
As a community and as a state, we do our best with everyone’s voice at the table. I hope you can join us on September 11 and help shape the conversation by submitting a question or topic.
If you can’t make it, as always I invite you to reach out directly with your input and ideas. It’s an honor to represent you.
Sincerely,
Liz Olson
State Representative
