SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Today, state budget officials announced the November Economic Forecast projecting a stable budget and economic outlook.
Rep. Liz Olson (DFL – Duluth), chair of the House Committee on Ways and Means, issued the following statement:
“This past spring, Minnesota Democrats passed a transformational two-year state budget that will strengthen our middle class. We listened carefully to Minnesotans and made bold investments in what they value most, while working together to lower costs for families and grow our economy. As this forecast shows, we also did so in a thoughtful way that protects our state’s fiscal health. Looking to the 2024 session, DFLers remain committed to addressing challenges and creating new opportunities for working families to succeed and thrive.”
