St. Paul, Minn. – Representative Jay Xiong (DFL-St. Paul) was sworn in to represent House District 67B last week, which encompasses Dayton’s Bluff, Battle Creek-Highwood, and the Greater Eastside neighborhoods in St. Paul.
“I am honored to serve our Eastside families for a second term,” said Rep. Xiong. “We have many challenges ahead, but I will continue amplifying our voices here at the Minnesota House of Representatives. Thank you to the people of District 67B for allowing me the opportunity to continue my service to our community.”
This biennium, Rep. Xiong will vice chair the newly established Workforce and Business Development Finance & Policy Committee.
“In this new role, I will fiercely advocate for statewide strategies to help our small businesses recover from the pandemic and support families and workers struggling with economic relief,” Rep. Xiong remarked.
Rep. Xiong will also serve on the following committees: Capital Investment; Legacy Finance; and Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance & Policy.
