Dear Neighbors,
70.6% of Minnesotans eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine (12 and older) in Ramsey County have now received at least one dose. With this encouraging news, Mayor Melvin Carter has lifted the face covering requirement in the City of Saint Paul. Please note that most clinics and hospitals still have this requirement in place to protect those who are medically vulnerable. As of May 28, nearly all state COVID-19 restrictions have ended, including capacity limits and distancing requirements.
A return to “normal” is in sight, but there is still a significant amount of folks who have not been able to, or have chosen not to get a vaccine. Accessibility continues to be an issue for some, and I’d like to share some local vaccine opportunities to help connect our community to these opportunities.
