St. Paul, MN– The Minnesota House of Representatives gave final approval on Monday to legislation that provides funding for a variety of projects around the state with an emphasis on public infrastructure like clean water, wastewater treatment, roads, bridges, flood mitigation, and preservation of state-owned assets. State Representative Danny Nadeau, R-Rogers, was able to secure funding for local projects in the bill.
“As lawmakers, we have a responsibility to assist in the construction and maintenance of public infrastructure projects that serve the common good,” said Nadeau. “This bill fulfills that responsibility and will make sure that Minnesotans can have access to clean water, safe roads and bridges, and an overall improved quality of life. I am especially grateful that I was able to work with Democrats in the House and Senate to secure funding for these three local projects for the communities of Champlin and Dayton.”
The bill now heads to Governor Walz’s desk where it awaits his signature.
