MINUTES
Representative Lanning, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:49 p.m. on February 28, 2011, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

John Edman, Director of Explore MN Tourism presented a budget overview of Explore MN Tourism.
Lucinda Winter, Executive Director of the Minnesota Film and TV Board presented financial impact information on the MN Film and TV Board.
A quorum was present.
Representative Lohmer moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 24, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chief Administrative Law Judge Raymond R. Krause presented an operations and budget overview of the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH).
Chair Lanning moved HF 577.
Chair Lanning moved the
H0577A1 amendment to HF 577. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Secretary of State Mark Ritchie testified on HF 577.
Chair Lanning laid over HF 577, as amended, for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.
Representative Benson moved that HF 89 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Lanning moved that HF 299 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.
Representative Quam testified on HF 299 and requested the adoption the H0299A2 amendment to HF 299.
