Saint Paul, Minn. — On May 4, 2022, the Minnesota Reformer broke news of allegations of wage theft for workers who built properties owned by the Wilf Family. The matter remains unresolved. House Majority Leader Ryan Winkler issued the following statement.
“In 2019, House DFLers led the way to establish the nation’s strongest protections against wage theft. Minnesota taxpayers have helped the Wilf family, and the Wilfs should be doing their part to help the state address serious allegations of wage theft on their construction projects. All employers must be held accountable when they rob workers of compensation they have earned.”
