FABIAN INTRODUCES BILLS SUPPORTING LOCAL PRIORITIES
ST. PAUL – Representative Dan Fabian, R-Roseau, recently introduced seven bills prioritizing local issues. The bills range from veterans issues to wildlife management, education, and bonding. Rep. Fabian released the following statement regarding the bills.
“I am proud to introduce these bills that are so important to our area,” said Fabian. “First and foremost, I represent the people and priorities of our district, and these bills are ones that have been brought to me by my constituents. I look forward to supporting policies that are important to our area at the Capitol this year.”
The new bills include:
- HF3191 would fund the Lake Bronson dam rehabilitation and provide additional funding for the dam safety program.
- HF3192 is a bill that allows Marshall County Central Schools to transfer existing money into a school readiness reserve account to prepare children for kindergarten.
- HF3193 requests bonding money for construction of a runway at the Karlstad airport.
- HF3196 would expand the use of motorized vehicles on wildlife management areas for hunters with physical disabilities.
- HF3197 is a bill to allow portable stands to be left overnight in wildlife management areas.
- HF3204 awards high school diplomas to veterans of World War II, the Korean War, or the Vietnam war, who did not receive a diploma because of their military service.
