St. Paul - Minnesota's 2023 Legislative Session officially began January 3 with Bjorn Olson (R-Fairmont) and 133 other state representatives being sworn into office during a ceremony at the State Capitol.
"It’s truly an honor to serve the residents of southern Minnesota, and I look forward to fighting on their behalf in St. Paul,” Olson said.
Most of Rep. Olson’s work during the first months of session will take place in House committees. Olson will serve on the Minnesota House Taxes, Transportation Finance and Policy, and Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy committees.
Olson represents Minnesota House District 22A, which is made up of communities within Martin, Faribault, Blue Earth and Watonwan counties.
