CLEARBROOK, MN—Rep. Matt Grossell, R-Clearbrook, issued the following statement congratulating area 2017 Farm Families of the Year. The Farm Family Recognition Program is coordinated by the University of Minnesota Extension; the College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Sciences; and the College of Veterinary Medicine and recognizes families from Minnesota's 87 counties who have made significant contributions to Minnesota agriculture and their communities. The 2017 Farm Family Recognition Program took place today at Farmfest.
2017 award winners from three counties in District 02A:
Beltrami County: Gib and Michelle Mouser
Clearwater County: James and Marilyn Sundquist
Hubbard County: Kevin and Jennifer Bliss Family
"Congratulations to the family farms that were honored today as Family Farms of the Year," said Rep. Grossell. "Family farms play a vital role in our economy and these represent among the best in our state."
