Grossell and Rep.-elect Duran on Fatal Accident Involving Red Lake Police Officer Jesse Branch Bemidji, MN — This morning Officer Jesse Branch was killed on duty in a crash involving his patrol car and another vehicle. A strong member of the Red Lake Police Department who last year was recognized for his outstanding work in DUI enforcement as a DWI-All-Star Enforcer. Representative Matt Grossell (R - Clearbrook) and Representative-elect Bidal Duran (R - Bemidji) had this to say on the tragic incident: "We are truly heartbroken for the family and friends of Officer Jesse Branch. They will be in our payers as they face the grief of losing a loved one heading into a time of year that should be filled with joy and happiness. Officer Branch served our community with honor, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to protecting the safety of others."
