St. Paul, MN – The war between Russia and Ukraine continues to be used as an excuse for why Americans are getting hit hard by inflation and at the gas pump. Because of the impact being felt across Minnesota, Representative Matt Grossell (R-Clearbrook) and several colleagues have issued a House Resolution, requesting President Biden take measures to “ensure America’s long-term energy affordability, security, leadership and independence.”
“Americans continue to pay the price for President Biden’s poor choices,” Grossell said. “We must not be limited in our leadership because President Biden is tethered to Russia when in reality, we as a nation, could and should, be energy independent.”
As part of the resolution, House members have requested more pipelines be constructed and an end to restrictions on America’s onshore and offshore oil and natural gas resources.
