St. Paul, MN – Representative Matt Grossell (R-Clearbrook) is hoping Lake of the Woods County will be able to build a new law enforcement and government facility very soon.
Grossell’s legislation, HF3764, was heard in the Capital Investment Committee on Tuesday during an informational hearing.
“I always support our law enforcement and public servants,” Grossell said. “This includes supporting legislation to build a building where they can conduct business and the public can access resources easily.”
The bill would appropriate $16 million for Lake of the Woods County to design and build a law enforcement and government building that would house services for mental health, veterans, election administration and emergency operations facilities. After this hearing, the bill will continue to move through committees.
