SAINT PAUL, MN – Representative Elliott Engen, R-Lino Lakes, took the oath of office to begin his first term Tuesday at the beginning of the 2023 legislative session. Engen will represent the new District 36A which includes the communities of White Bear Township, North Oaks, Lino Lakes, Centerville, and Circle Pines.
Prior to the start of session, Engen was elected to serve as an Assistant Minority Leader. He will serve on the Human Services Policy, the Public Safety Finance & Policy, and Rules and Legislative Administration Committees.
“I am honored to represent my neighbors in District 36A in St. Paul,” said Engen. “As a member of the Human Services Policy and Public Safety Committees, I look forward to tackling some of the most important issues facing Minnesotans today. We must ensure that government is a good steward of our hard-earned tax dollars, and that law enforcement has the resources they need to keep every community in our state safe.”
