Rep. Elliot Engen Sworn into Office for Second Term
Saint Paul, MN –
Minnesota’s 2025 Legislative Session officially began January 14th as Rep. Elliot Engen, R-Lino Lakes, and 66 other state representatives took the oath of office during a ceremony at the State Capitol in St. Paul.
Engen will serve on three House committees: Elections Finance and Government Operations, Public Safety Finance and Policy, and Judiciary Finance and Civil Law. Engen will also serve as Vice Chair of the House Rules Committee. “This session, it will be my priority to bring true reforms to state government- making it more transparent, accountable, and beholden to the voters we are elected to serve. For too long, the state government has prioritized itself and the political class instead of Minnesotans and the working class. I’m excited to get to work to right the ship,” said Engen.
Engen encourages area residents to contact him if they have any legislative questions, concerns, or ideas. He can be reached by phone at 651-296-2365. He can also be contacted via email at rep.elliott.engen@house.mn.gov or via U.S. Mail at 2nd Floor, Centennial Office Building St. Paul, MN 55155.
